Yasmina Solanes is a director recognized for her intuitive storytelling and visual sensitivity. Her distinctive approach blends emotional depth, a personal visual language, and a keen sense of realism, often exploring intimate stories through a uniquely female gaze.

After completing her degree in Art History in Barcelona, Yasmina moved to London, immersing herself in the advertising world at renowned agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and Springer & Jacoby UK. Quickly realizing her true passion lay behind the camera, she pursued an MA in Filmmaking at The London Film School, where she honed her craft under acclaimed directors like Mike Leigh, Patrice Leconte, and Mike Figgis.

Her graduation short film, 3 Washes, won several awards at international film festivals, opening the door to her career as a commercial director. She went on to direct commercials for global brands such as Fanta, Garnier, Dove, L’Oréal, Vodafone, Huawei, Mango, Nivea, and Durex.

Currently based in Madrid, Yasmina is always in the mood to shoot.
